Hello, I'm Steven Gizzi, a freelance photographer based in Rochester, NY.

My love for film photography blossomed early on. With my father's trusty Nikon FG 35mm SLR in hand, I relished capturing moments featuring people, events, urban architecture, and picturesque landscapes. After school, I eagerly developed my film and prints in the high school darkroom.

As technology evolved, my fervor for photography only intensified.

At the Rochester Institute of Technology, I delved into the vast realm of biomedical imaging. While pursuing my studies, I created educational videos for Rochester General Hospital. This experience allowed me to photograph and document various surgical procedures, ultimately guiding me towards a specialized career in healthcare.
